Owner George Kopec has 20 years of experience in custom building. He was the principal and owner of a general contracting company specializing in fine finish carpentry on distinguished homes in the Massachusetts and Rhode Island areas from 2003 to 2019. George formed Blue Island Trim upon relocating to Florida in 2020, providing the same high-quality, custom services.
George has a seasoned, creative eye for design. He’s completed many types of projects from building French Country style, spacious beach homes on the coast of Rhode Island to remodeling modern, energy-efficient homes in the Greater Boston area to performing fine finish carpentry services to distinguished homes on Jupiter Island, FL. A master carpenter, he has experience and expertise with high-end installations and joinery of both natural and manufactured materials.

Office Administrator Emily Kopec provides the office support and logistics to keep jobs running smoothy. Emily coordinates throughout the company to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies. Her clerical and administrative services support the company’s daily operations. Emily comes from a background of management and coordination services. She completed her B.A. at Framingham State University.
